A little background |

We started in the eighties while living in Pennsylvania. It all started when I ordered a kit knife and had to beat it apart three different times before I felt it was right. After this experience I searched out a small company called Blade’s n Stuff in Glendale, California. I brought blades ground by the late Bob Engnath until his death. At that time I contacted Stephanie Engnath, Bob’s wife, for help in setting us up with a grinder and other things to help complete my shop. Stephanie spent a lot of time teaching me the basics of grinding over the phone. With her knowledge and patience I finally got the hang of it, as rough as it was, but over the years I have improved to where I am today. We now live in Medicine Bow, Wyoming and have for last 10 ½ years/ I still use some of Bob and Stephanie’s patterns from time to time... Bob and Stephanie Engnath have not only helped me but many of today’s knife makers. We make using knives of many sizes to designs. They are highly finished working knives at a moderate price. All are made from the best steel and handle material available.
